Fish, blood and bone - an organic, easy to apply general purpose fertiliser which contains all the nutrients needed for strong, healthy plants.

 

Fish, blood and bone can be applied before or after planting and promotes lush flowers, foliage and high yields of fruit and vegetables.

Fish, blood and bone will replace nutrients lost after cutting your lawn, and revitalise the grass, making for a denser and healthier lawn.

Fish, blood and bone can improve soil quality by feeding the beneficial bacteria in the soil, which can help to breakdown any harmful toxins and chemicals in the soil.

Fish, blood and bone strengthens the plant roots - helping to reduce the chance of root rot.

Fish, blood and bone not only prolongs flowering and fruiting, but it also improves vegetable and fruit colour and flavour, and aids in ripening of fruits and vegetables too.

 

Uses:

  • Lawn feed and fertiliser – best to apply even coverage.
  • When planting shrubs, trees, hedges, apply to the soil before planting and fork in well.
  • For planting flowers, bulbs and perennials.
  • For growing fruits and vegetables.
  • Can be used throughout the growing season.
  • Activating your compost heap and encouraging earthworms and soil micro-organisms.


Application and Advice

35 grams is approximately 1 handful

Initial application: 2-5 handfuls per m2 , - apply to the base of the hole before planting and fork in well.

Apply every 4-6 weeks thereafter. Gently fork into soil without disturbing roots, and water well.

Can be used as a base dressing before laying new turf or lawn seed to encourage strong root growth.

Can be used as a top dressing over lawns – ensure to spread evenly

 

Precautions

  • Do not exceed the appropriate application as over-applying may damage your plants
  • Gloves are recommended when using this product.
  • Some animals may be attracted to the scent of this product, so it is recommended to mix well into the soil and water well.
  • Children and pets can continue to use the treated area after application.
