Rose and Shrub Food - can be used to feed established roses or other flowering shrubs and plants and when planting new roses.
Rose and Shrub Food will also help prevent diseases and is essential for encouraging bigger blooms.
Rose and Shrub Food comes in a pellet form and has added organic matter in the formulation which will also help to condition the soil.
Rose and Shrub Food can be used as a first feed in early Spring then later in the summer after the first flush of flowers have faded to encourage more flowers to grow.
Application and advice
Rose and Shrub Food is NPK 4-3.5-7 with added trace elements.
For Established Plants
Apply 35g (1 handful ) evenly around the base of the plant in early Spring, keeping the pellets off the leaves and stems.
Fork in lightly and water well if the soil is dry. Repeat application in the summer after the first flush - prior to the second flush of blooms.
Planting New Roses
Mix 70g (2 handfuls ) with the bottom soil, ensuring that the hole dug is both deep and wide enough to allow the roots to spread out evenly. Water in well.

- Do not exceed the appropriate application as over-applying may damage your plants.
