Sulphate of Ammonia is a quick acting, nitrogen fertiliser which encourages green and leafy growth. It is especially beneficial for crops such as brassicas, lettuce, spinach, rhubarb, leeks and onions.

As a water-soluble fertiliser, Sulphate of ammonia is extensively used for crop production because it provides efficient nitrogen and readily available sulphur which aids in plant growth. This fertiliser is paramount in the maintenance of healthy soil and vibrant crop growth

Sulphate of ammonia helps to cure leaf yellowing and promotes rapid greening and growth of foliage.

Sulphate of ammonia will rejuvenate and green up any tired lawns and give them an added boost during autumn.

Sulphate of ammonia is great for trees, shrubs, and hedges, and give an added boost to flowering and fruiting plants.

If you want to grow acid-loving plants, such as hydrangeas, blueberries, artichokes, or pomegranate trees – Using Sulphate of ammonia helps to lower the soil ph and can seriously improve your harvest and the overall health of your plants.

• The effects of Sulphate of ammonia last four to six weeks. – apply during the growing season from March to September

Application and Advice

• Sulphate of Ammonia should be applied evenly at the recommended rate and gently forked into the top surface of the soil.

• Sulphate of Ammonia should not be left on leaves or stems, it should be lightly brushed off the plant and onto the soil.

• During dry weather – water well before and after application

35g of Sulphate of Ammonia is approximately 1 handful

 Vegetables, flowers, trees, and shrubs - 1 handful (35g) per m²

Apply around the base of the plant (avoid touching any leaves or stem), gently fork into soil without disturbing roots, and water well.

Lawns – 25 – 35g per m²  scatter/ spread evenly over lawn and water in thoroughly.

Apply every 4-6 weeks thereafter

• Do not exceed the appropriate application as over-applying may damage your plants
• Gloves are recommended when using this product.
